IRCTC and TASMAC is inevitable.

Life is beautiful, but it is not always. The one knows how hard it’s when you want to book a Tatkal ticket in IRCTC or getting a cold beer in TASMAC. The possibility of getting those things done is nearly impossible for noobies. It needs lots of practice. Nothing works better than practice.

The first day the ticket would have sold out even before you login to the IRCTC site. Next time you will go till payment and you thought you are in, but you are not. You can not call that near death experience may be you call it as near life experience.

After repeating these cycles for some time one blue moon day you will successfully book the ticket, then you will realise it’s not that your mastered it, it's just because you are booking for some weekday. You could have get it even if you book it just before chart preparation. You are looking back and an year is gone without realising it. Yes some of the skills are easy to learn but not easy to get mastered it. reading about “10,000 hours rule” might help.

No ticket to go home. Weekend with roommates is what you think heaven when there is a birthday party. There comes another struggle. Getting a beer is difficult and getting a cooling beer is dream comes true.

The research already proves that coffee is good for steady working and alcohol to get the innovative idea.(Don’t tell this to my mom.) After a couple of drinks you never count or you can not count. This has nothing to do with the problem solving skills you learned in aptitude training classes. R.S Aggarwal’s book never helps here.

Suddenly there is a flash, you think you got some brainstorming idea but then realise non-drinkers are taking picture. (There is always a friend who is taking care of eating the side dish, drinking the cool drinks and most importantly he takes care of cleaning the mess you made. They are lovely people. They are the reason for the existence of world)
Damn it, Are you trying to blind me? turn of the flash off. You yell at them and no one listens as usual. And he continue taking the picture because he need that picture to shut your mouth whenever you start lecturing about drinking.
Flash again. No, this time its from you. You hear something within from yourself. There is a question. Why am I not getting cold beer? Am I the only one not getting it? There is no need for survey. Remembering the disappointed faces from A/C TASMAC bar to torn palm leaf bar in the village. Yes, the entire state suffers. It is like combined population of Australia and Canada are not getting the cold bear.
This is scary. For a moment I thought, is this starting of end of the world?. I went further to get some details. TASMAC accounts for 3.3 billion dollar in revenue which is approximately equal to 16 thousand crore rupees. If we say in the caption's(not Ganguly, it's Karuppu MGR) language it's equal to 10 times the Amazon net profit which sells 120 million different products, where is TASMAC only sells somewhere around 120 products.
This is an eye opener. I see there is 3.3 billion market out there and there is room for growth. I am not a an emotional person when it comes to entrepreneurship. I quickly get some numbers So the problem everyone having is no cooling beer.

So what is the solution?
Keeping a cooling machine that charges the beer in 3-5 minutes(need innovation here for that amazing cooling machine) could be the optimal solution.
People leave the web page if it takes longer than 3 seconds to load is what google webmaster says. (Noah, not taking about irctc site). If we apply the same rule 3-5 minutes can be the best number and no one want to wait more than that. The price can be Rs 10 per beer. (Offers, detailed price plans TBD)

Based on the one day sales collection, we could derive these numbers .
(Skip the calculations unless you are a friend of Ramanujan or CA)

698 shops accounts revenue of Rs.95 Crores which sold 12 lakhs liquor bottles.
No of bottles sold in each shop.
12,00000/698 = 1719 bottles/shop
Consider 70% is beer is sold without cooling,
70 % of 1719 is 1204
Consider 70% of people who like to get it cooling
70% of 1204 = 843
If we charge Rs 10/bottle, then
843*10 = 8430 INR per shop.

6823 shops *8340 INR *365 days = 20769894300 INR.
Two thousand crore rupees per year. Wow, This is incredible number.

one more thing…..

There is a voice. Wait, that sentence looks familiar. But I could not recollect where I heard that. But my friend is standing near by.
You are lying in the toilet for more than two hours. It’s like 60 times more than normal urinal time, 20 times of normal puke time, 12 times more than normal shower time. Get out of here you idiot.

I just smiled and said “Isn’t that awesome?”
